Cactus

Sitting here
wishing on a cement floor
Just wishing that
i had just something you wore
I put it on when I go lonely
Will you take off your dress
and send it to me?

I miss your kissin'
and i miss your head
And a letter in your writing
doesn't mean you're not dead

Just run outside in the desert heat
Make your dress all wet
and send it to me
I miss your soup and I miss your bread
And a letter in your writing
doesn't mean you're not dead
So spill your breakfast
and drip your wine
Just wear that dress when you dine

So, sitting here wishing
on a cement floor
Just wishing that i had just something you wore
Bloody your hands on a cactus tree
Wipe'em on your dress
and send it to me
Sitting here wishing on a cement floor
Just wishing that i had just something you wore

I knocked over the DJ Booth ... and I have pictures of it.

I am most certainly not a very social person - since I moved to LA I have limited my social activities to occasional dinners and gallery shows (they have to be a close friend, though).
My most recent exposure to society has again proven that I am best off doing what I do best - staying home.

Bored with the awkward conversations I decided to take photos of myself with the DJ .

The expression of horror on his face, after he realized that I had just knocked over the entire DJ setup, mixer and turntables.

The sudden silence immediately attracted everyone with cameras, and they joyously documented my 15 seconds of terror.

Paradise Motel

I shot a lil story thingie today at a classy joint called Paradise Motel.

Check out some of the reviews.
Here a little sampler:

Are they serious? Paradise motel? This place is a dump. The motel is very small and looks so dirty and trashy. It is also ugly from the inside and very dirty plus it smells funny. The service here is horrible they should shut down the place. I don't recommend at all!

Hey - my models didn't seem to have any complaints... AND Paradise Motel charges by the hour.

Can't beat that...

POV of getting a haircut.

Marc Baptiste spontaneously decided to cut my hair during his most recent visit to LA.

I had a friend snap a few shots of it.

And this is what it was like from my perspective:

New Site is up....

MY NEW SITE is finally up ...

redesigned, with even crappier photographs than before, because I pretty much switched over to shooting with cheap point and shoot cameras and light bulbs from Home Depot -thanks to Geoff Cordner , who besides being a great photographer also has the HTML skills AND was able to put up with my psychotic behavior during the process, you'll be able to enjoy my point and shoot stuff in all its glory.

And even though Film Is Dead, there are still some people like myself who are not serious about photography AT ALL.

Either way, check out Geoff's work - especially his short film Hotel Hopscotch.

Thankfully there are still people who make things that are worth watching.

And did I mention that Film Is Dead???

Sorry, it's a bit of an isider joke between me and 3 other people, but I like spreading the word anyway.

I shoot you and you shoot me.

Today I found some strange "ghost" shots on a roll of film that was in my Leica.
The girl I photographed used it as a prop and pused the button a few times.
It's cute to see these.
I like them.
